    Default Tundra beeper

How in the heck do you turn off the damned seatbelt beeping in a 2019 model? Anyone know?

Ford had that in the owners manual. This thing is annoying the crap out of me off the pavement...

Mine goes off pretty quick, it's tolerable enough that I haven't tried to cancel it out

As far as I know it’s not possible like the fords. A dealer can do it or maybe krt. My understanding is it has to be reprogrammed. But I have been wrong before.

Just buckle the seat belt before you get in

I love that it doubles as a bottle opener.

I reckon the plug-in thingy is an option. Not sure why you can't turn it off. Did some more googling and it seems like it has to be turned off with a computer.

Go to the dealership and they will order seat belt extensions free. They click right in

    Techstream for sure.

I also keep reading about this new obd device called “carista”. It can turn some stuff on and off but I have not read about the seatbelt itself. When you ask on the Toyota forums all the government bots come out and tell you how stupid you are. To my knowledge it’s also not illegal to silence the audible alarm sound like dealers claim. I believe as long as the dash light warns you that it’s sufficient by law. Maybe someone with more specific knowledge can confirm or deny that.

Find a totaled one and cut the buckle off the belt.
