Default Caught Cheating in Crappie Tourney

    Crappie USA $125000 tourney.

They say the man took his boat out and fished another lake during the tourney. He was a guide and had done well in a lot of tourneys.

When confronted and given an option, he decided not to weigh his fish......and is now banned for life.

They confront him on stage at the 53 minute mark and the Weighmaster gives and explanation at the 57 minute mark.

When I was a kid I had a t-shirt on it that said "have a crappie day" and had a picture of the fish on it.

I’m never shocked when people will do whatever it takes to win or to gain something.

What is shocking is that there are that many folks that will enter a crappie tournament, and that people would crappie fish in that weather.
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

A lot of people like to catch crappie. Hell, I’d rather catch a limit of two pound crappies than a limit of 5 lb largemouth any day of the week.

Even a fish wouldn't get caught if he kept his mouth shut...

I suspect a lot of that goes on here in the local saltwater tournaments I fish in. It’s pretty sad that someone is willing to cheat to win such a small payout.

all the time and outsiders being paid to help transport and offload the winning fish onto another boat is a bog issue
