    Default 10/20 & 10/21 bucks

Tipped over a couple of nice 8pts this week. Sunday I toted the bow, and had a group of four bucks come in eating acorns. I shot the 2nd biggest buck in the group while he was sparring with one of the smaller bucks. The shot was bad, and a long track job followed.

Yesterday afternoon I hunted a stand, that I had slipped in and hung in the rain Saturday. Was seeing a lot of deer early, and then the wind changed direction. The does caught my scent and took off. I didn't think I was going see anything else, but right at dark a big boy 8 stepped out. First deer I've shot with a rifle in 10yrs.

    Awesome. Good stuff.,
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

Yeah he assisted on the tracking job. Had to take him off the leash because he was going to drag my ass through the woods on my belly once he hit the trail if I didn't.
