    Default Travel gun case recommendations

I am in need of a new hard case to travel with. Looking for something with room for two shotguns and able to withstand the abuse of airline baggage handlers. Whatcha got?

We use the SKB with wheels. It will hold 4 shotguns. The Rtic one looks good and a buddy really likes his pelican.
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

Americase! I have one that holds 2 shotguns with extra room for chokes and cleaning supplies. The baggage gorillas haven't managed to destroy it yet.

I picked up one from Cabela's a couple years back that has worked great. I believe its a Boyt hard case with their name on it. Normally $120 but goes on sale for $80 occasionally.

Pelican or SkB, whichever you can find cheaper. I have both and they are both tough as nails.

I just traveled internationally with a $30 plano double case no problem. Only recommendation I would make is get one with wheels, mine does not. No wheels is not a problem until you add having a carry on bag, and a big duffel bag full of clothes/gear to carry at the same time.

Pelican makes awesome cases, depending on your budget.

I’d think just about anything with locks would work for shotguns
Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

Look at Seahorse cases too. I discovered them on Amazon when I needed a new waterproof case for the boat. Well made, I can’t tell the difference between it and some smaller Pelicans I have, and made in the USA.

I like a Pelican. They are heavy but they work.

Sam’s has a pretty heavy Plano two gun case for $99 right now. At least the one off Two Notch did on Friday. Never used it but I picked it up and opened it and it looked to be of decent quality. Had the pick foam so you could match to your guns.

i went with pelican and really like it.

also, good tip i picked up last year was to take out bottom foam when traveling with shotguns and pack as much hunting clothing and gear first to serve as the cushion and help save space. it seems so obvious but my mind was blown first time i did this and saved however much money from having to check another bag

The RTIC is short. Have to take the barrel off.
