this is a thread from a few weeks back. what's everyone seeing now? Had a few wood ducks show up in the swamp, but nothing to get too excited about. Need a lot to happen between now and thanksgiving else it will be a bust. Last year was no good at my place. Wondering if this year will be the same. Very few acorns around my place this year again, for the 2nd year in a row. Is that moving them elsewhere or a non-factor?

Saw a bunch of wood ducks and some teal on Saturday. Didn't really go to where the ducks are though.

They've made it to TX already. Opened was this past weekend. Guy that works for my dad is also a part time guide. He said the outfitter he works for totalled 625 birds on Sat and >500 on Sun.

Sunday I sat in a deer stand looking down into Beaverdam WMA and it is full of mallards. They weren't there Friday.

I’m hoping for a mild winter here. Cold here hurts us. At least on the coast. Give me a 55-60 degree day

There were a bunch of ducks and geese in NE AR this weekend. Hopefully they stick around till the 23rd. We saw large amount of Mallards which is obviously unusual for this time of year. Pintail and Gadwall were plentiful.
