I check deer cameras, put out corn, plant a few foodplots, mow about 5 miles of roads, trap hogs, trap beavers, shoot doves, shoot turkeys, all for little over 100k plus truck. It’s a tough job

I was talking the other day to a person about what we're meant to do. Kinda like that office space conversation, she told me that I should find out exactly what I love to do and do it. First, I mean I'm not complaining.. it's not bad, but it's not like I dream about being at work.. I sure as shit don't love it, you can be good at something and not love it. I told her there's no way someone is going to pay me to practice golf and shoot birds, even if they did the pay couldn't be much. I mean I'm talking about gift card payments at best. I don't even know how to react to someone when they tell me their work is fulfilling, that shit is gross.

TSmith makes pretty good money shooting birds.

I watched Office Space this morning. I have something that I think I would enjoy doing more than what I do now that’s currently in the works. With any luck, will be transitioning to it in about 6 months. At present, I grow stuff. I don’t know of anything I would enjoy getting out of bed for everyday, with the exception of recreational activities.

If I took my favorite hobby and made it into a job, I'd probably learn to hate it. I love to fish but I wouldn't want to do it for a living. Same with hunting.

I think Andrew Zimmern and Anthony Bourdain had the best job in the world.
