    Default Bulk Sausage

Id like to freeze ground sausage into 12-16 oz packages so that when I pull them out I can cut them into patties, sort like the jimmy dean sausage you can by. Anyone have an ideal of the best way or container/bag to do it in? I have a sausage suffer to ease the process as well.

We always packed it in sandwich bags and patted flat. Made storage easy and then just pan fry as a whole patty and cut into servings.

We press our patties out with old patty press. Freeze them on cookie sheets and then drop in gallon bags.

Yall like some freezer burn. I havent used them as I vacuum seal or freezer paper everything, but for what you want I would try these:

Yeah that’s what I was going to use but just didn’t feel like driving over there. I have 12 lbs to put up, I may order some of those and use triples method tomorrow in vacuum seal bags.

No freezer burn issues at all. Patties are formed pressed between wax paper. I make sausage twice a year.

Sportsmans or academy might have em. If not for just 12 lbs youd be okay with all the other suggestions , just use em up quick.
