    Shot him because he had no use of his right front leg...Must have been broken up toward the shoulder sometime in the past...Note right front hoof turned under.

    Granddaughter liked him anyway.....

    Buddy in Greenville County saw 8 bucks. Said 4 were still grouped up, but two were scrapping a bit.

    Saw two 8’s , two basket rack 6/8 ‘s a big cow horn, two small spikes. Four does, and three spotted fawns. One of the larger 8’s didn’t survive the morning. Would’ve been a good one in a couple of years. The two larger 8s and the baskets were walking as a group.

    I shot. Nothing special. 175# deer , an inch or so outside the ears. I just couldn’t take it.

    My nephews first time in the woods was this morning, he was off of school this morning which worked out perfect. He saw both bucks before I did. He begged for me to shoot them and I didn’t have a problem following orders.
