    Default Upgrading my meat grinder

Going to update to a better meat grinder, my 10 year old harbor freight grinder has far exceeded it life expectancy. Thinking of going with the Cabelas brand Carnivore line, I believe I can add a cuber to it. Should I spend the extra 50.00 and go with the 3/4 hp vs the 1/2 hp? Anyone use the Carnivore line of grinders? I may process 3-4 deer a year.

While I have no experience in this subject matter what so ever, common sense and general lessons learned in life would steer me to spend the extra $50.

Nah I’ll keep the old one, she still has plenty of grind left in her.

I was looking at them. I have borrowed a #22 Cabelas's many a time and never had a complaint. I was thinking about getting the #22 vs the #12. Another $150 but I believe it's worth the extra HP.

Hard to beat a Lifetime warranty.
