I just thought I'd follow up again because we thought this was pretty cool. Last week when we were trailing my sons deer, we saw a spot in the food plot where the ground was kicked up and thought it was where the bullet impacted after going through the deer. My son wanted to come back with his metal detector to see if he could find it and he did!! A pretty cool souvenir to go with his first buck!

My Mom's 6MM (.244) Rem was a great gun for her with NPT's. Might try and find another one . Her 788 long bbl was a stone cold shooter.

Very cool. I have a couple of bullets from deer I’ve killed. One I found when I bit down on it in a roast. Definitely knew I got my deer back from the processor. That’s interesting about the TTSX

Petals broke off when the bullet hit the ground. Really cool that he wanted to go do the sleuthing.
