    Default 9/28

Got an early start due to the morning high tide but was able to get a member here his first fish in the grass.

Bait of the day was a weedless rigged gulp shrimp that the fish couldn’t refuse when dropped in their face. Look for the right tides and get out there, now is a great time to find these fish!

    Very nice!
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I did pretty good this past week in the afternoon tide. Took two friends yesterday morning and those fish wouldn't cooperate.

I typically throw flies and this was the first time I had used gulp in this situation. From watching the fishes reaction I do think the scent helped and gave you a larger “window” to get the bait noticed.
