    Default mud tire recommendation?

I've always had BFG all terrains but want to try some mud tires. What do yall recommend that has a decent ride? 2014 f150 with 20' wheels and front leveling kit. Prefer to stay under $1200 if possible

Toyo's or Nitto trail grapplers. I have trail grapplers on two of my trucks right now and they ride great. Zero complaints.

Very aggressive AT but not quite full on mud with a decent ride and noise level, Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

My last set of Nitto Trail grapplers only lasted 35,000 miles. They were awesome at first, as they wore they became rough and loud as hell. Switched up to Toyo Open country MTs and I’ve got a little over 55,000 miles on them and still have a decent amount of tread left no complaints thus far with the Toyo’s.

I think those Toyo tires are supposed to be pretty good.

I like BFGs. They may be out of your desired price range though

Nitto ridge grappler or trail grappler.

I’ve had two sets of Nitto Trail Grapplers personally that have been great and have a set of the Toyo R/Ts now that are great tires as well. Anything in the Toyo or Nitto brands will be a great tire. Probably a little more than 1200 but they would be worth it.

Another to look at is Yokohama, they make a good mud tire that is similar tread design to the Toyos. Falken wildpeak M/T is good too. We’ve sold both of them and folks have been pleased with them. These will be around the price point you’re looking at

About to be in the same boat. Looking for something AT/MT, good ride, not super loud. Very important factors... what seems to wear well and get ~50k+ miles? Price is irrelevant if they wear out real quick.

Like Toyo R/Ts, but I got stuck like Chuck last year.....100% driver fault, but it happened.

I'll keep buying them unless something substantially better come along.

My 2 sets have both lasted about 50k.

My 35s were slightly over your budget.

Buddy of mine just got a check from bfg. 17,000 miles they were bald like a racing slick.

I’ve had three sets of Toto R/T and will keep buying them

However bfg just came out with a new tread pattern. I wouldn’t buy them if it were me

Had Toyo R/Ts on my Z71. I enjoyed them. Planning on putting them on my F-350 as well.
