...that said, this was the best I could pull off; I am no homecoming-float artist, and this thing has turned out to be about twice big as the biggest bull in the state of Wyoming with a mutant hump-back look. I have a feeling that this thing is going to flare all the ducks that are currently making my spot their home, but like the title says...until I give it a try and see what happens, I will always wonder if it will work. I'll keep y'all posted, as I'm sure there are many on here just chomping at the bit to make their on version of Bessie.

Looks like it will be fun either way.

Just remember, it could always be worse, you could be chasing ducks in SC.

This thread title had me worried you were going all Brokeback Mountain on us.,

I think I'd start by putting it a good distance from the water hole and moving it closer every couple of days. I hope this works for you

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

I've got a friend in Ocala that hunts stock ponds behind cow silhouettes.

I had a spot in florida where I could rely on cows walking up on me during the hunt. Scared the shit out of me the first time it happened, was still dark outside. I didn't realize cows just roam around freely in the middle of florida

Some of the crackers down there only see their cows a couple times a year. They turn them loose in the palm groves and let them fend for themselves.

If your chick fil a cow doesn’t work out for you, you can always wear it on cow day and get you a free meal.
