Default Bassmasters Lake Tenkiller in Oklahoma

Brandon fished the final regular season event. Had another tough event, only caught 3 fish each day for 11+ lbs total and finished up 58th. 3 tough ones in a row. Looks like he will be somewhere around 31st in AOY points. One more event on lake St. Clair for AOY championship. Pretty good year with some great high points and some low points, still making a living doing what he loves. Patrick Walters made the cut for tomorrow and so did Brandon’s travel partner Shane LeHew. Hope they both can have great days tomorrow and make the top ten for Sunday.

He made the cut for the classic as a result of that second win, right?

That’s right, the Texas tournament was automatic for whoever won. Looks like he should double qualify, they take the top 42 in points I believe and he is currently in 31st. I’m already planning my trip to Birmingham for the Classic, trying to find a good place to stay close enough to watch take off each morning and make it to the weigh in. The lake is about 1 and 1/2 hours from the weighin site. It’s the Super Bowl of Bass fishing and I don’t want to miss any of it.

Tenkiller cut my butt the one time I fished it- Brandon has done well and needs to keep it up as long as he can, all it takes is 1 championship win and he is set.

Brandon came out and fished a Wednesday night derby back in June on greenwood.

    The bite was super tough.

Brandon left early at 930pm and I left at 1030pm

So now I tell people since I lasted longer than he did that I whooped a pros tail.

    Lol

I’ve seen Brandon at the Wednesday night tournaments a few years back when I fished a few of them.

But you know Davy Hite won’t fish a fun/charity tournament for the very joke you just made

I’ll never forget the morning Anthony Gagliardi walked up and registered for our little $500 charity tournament on Lake Murray. He had just won the Forrest Wood Cup.
