Glenn can fix it. As long as you kept all the pieces. Some of that stuff is important.

When in doubt, shoot him again!

Work like it's all up to me, but pray, like it's all up to him!

You Fellas eat a lot of deer ribs? If you shoot them in the lungs that would be all that’s lost. As opposed to being off a couple of inches and knocking their jaw off and then they survive a gunshot but die of starvation.

This is how good threads go bad.

The buck pic above made me think of comic strip deer illustrations.

That’s why you make sure you can make the shot you decide to take. The same thing can happen to any other deer shot in other places. Stuff happens, people miss. Practice your shots and use good equipment and judgement.

you're asking me?...he was pretty small; reckon the close up makes him look huge....the shot placement was where it makes cleaning the smaller ones more worthwhile.....plenty more to share but that one seems to get a chuckle

ducksmoker said it best.... make sure you're comfortable taking that shot and make sure you can shoot accurately as well. I'm not one of these hunters who goes out 2 days before season and satisfied with shooting a 5 shot group inside of a dip can..... I literally shoot all year long and hand load every bullet that I shoot so I have no doubt when I pull the trigger. I can assure you that this is not the first deer that I've shot in the face nor will it be the last.
