Default 8pt buck deer and gold

I hunted this deer for two weeks with bow, and then shot at 30 yards on rifle opener (GZ 4). first deer in velvet for me.

Damn fine buck. How much gold is that? We have property loaded with quartz and I’m wondering if I have a new hobby.

were you prospecting in york county? If not what county was it in? I have some land in union that is covered in quartz and a small creek running through it. I used to go to North Carolina with my grandpa all the time with our dredge and or highbanker. Id be interested in getting back into it! Pm me if you would prefer
