They both have their place. Just depends on the situation.

I really don't understand all the hate about eating geese. They have always been good to me when prepared properly. If nothing else, they make great jerky.

Wasting goose meat is like throwing a fine pot roast in the trash.

if he’ll post other people’s fishing pics......
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I don't think anyone was saying that goose meat is on the same level as teal or wood ducks, likkerman, cause it ain't. But its a lot better than catfish bait, and most catfish, for that matter.

I just don't shoot them.. the ones living farther up north and eating corn I can say taste better.. But you mentioned them being good if prepared properly.. if that means jerky as being proper so be it.

So you're telling me the geese found near Beaver Creek doesn't hold a candle to the ones up north? Now that's just disrespectful, especially being a wateree native

Than little clan of geese are aggravating too.. They don't really stop at my house when they get into the big water, honestly think they remember my old Lab.
