    Default Trail Camera Batteries

Any of ya'll did any tests? Gotta get new batteries, D cell and wondering if any of ya'll have gotten any better results from more expensive batteries.

I am running the cuddeback cuddelink system and getting 4-5 months from batteries of regular energizer.

    ha.
i have a camera that takes C batteries and it has a sticker that says something about lithium batteries. I've still never seen them....

I dont buy cheap crap batteries from the zippy mart. Energizers should be about as good as you can do. I tried some rechargable one time and didnt have much luck.

and 4-5months is about all you should need. i've never understood "running cameras year round" but to each his own....

I run a few year round for potential trespassing problems not for hunting. Have you tried anything like procell or quantum? If so did they help?

I’ve had good luck with Panasonic eneloop rechargeables in AA and AAA. Like twice the life in headlamps and handheld gps devices over non-rechargeable batteries. They’re expensive, but might be worth a shot.

I never even put batteries in my Moultries. A guy at the club had a connection for some used 12 vt batteries, that the phone company used in their stuff. They traded them out quite often and they gave them to him. They were slightly bigger than lawn mower batteries.

We rigged up external adapters and they ran for over a year on 1 charge. We charged them once a year. The battery sat at the base of the tree covered in leaves.

The next best thing would be internal lithium batteries.

I think I will stick with the regular ones but thanks. At that price, I am not really looking to be part owner in their company.

Not anymore. I was told they were used in some switch boxes or something. The phone companies traded them out way before their lifespan. They were sealed, light blue, and clean. They guy gave me at least 8. I no longer hunt there or hunt anywhere for that matter.
