    Default Hurricane Gators

Anyone noticed gators doing anything different since the big low pressure came through? I do not feel like we had enough rain to change water temps much. Anyway, do not have much time to re-scout before Saturday so I thought I would ask. Not looking for anyone's special spot, although feel free to PM me if you have one; but, a couple of years ago a storm played havoc on gator season for me. MG

They were out and about yesterday on Lake Marion. Saw a grown one at cuddo. I know that helps none.

If you're a night hunter, you can catch them crossing potato creek leaving the refuge at night. Won't see them doing that very often in the daytime.

We're heading down with 2 southern coastal tags from the Upstate. How is the ACE Basin doing after the hurricane? It seems like every time we get drawn a hurricane hits the week before and floods everything. I was really hoping to get to hunt at normal water level this year.

In the cone again. I got two to fill, going to be a scramble this weekend to beat the next storm. Never know when it will dump a bunch of new water down and screw everything up. MG

I'm going Southern Coastal this weekend as well. Not happy about weather report. Last time I had a tag I had one weekend to fill it and it was cloudy and in the 70s. Never saw a decent lizard.

That's middle coastal though. There are a plenty of monsters out there.

What have you heard about the weather down there for this weekend? I haven't checked it and just assumed it'd be high 90s like we've been having here.

Will be hunting Midlands tomorrow ourselves. Got two there and one Middle Coastal. I'd hate to kill two big ones in the same day again but if the opportunity presents itself, it'll happen.
