    Ah yes, tungsten. Funny thing is tungsten is just as devastating on waterfowl, but don't try to sell that to these pheasants.

    So a metal pellet with about 7.5g/cc in density holds as much energy at 35yds that a metal pellet of 12g/cc?

    Agreed on the putting pellets on target, though. People seem to lose sight that that's the name of the game. And that comes with practice, practice, practice. I've been focusing on my mechanics and really need to consult a shooting coach to continue to progress.

    But back to ammo choice, when it comes to ducks I just choose to use a better pellet. Basically steel sucks.

    2 3/4" expert killed many a duck for me. Perhaps lean how to duck hunt.
