    ha. good stuff.

    its his second season. we did the opposite of all the silly training I read about in the retriever forum. my wife threw him a frisbee and a tennis ball from time to time.

    He did just fine. He sat in that spot under the camo umbrella I brought with us and picked up every bird I shot, except for the one I caught out of the air.

    He hunted short a few times on longer retrieves. I had to stand up and walk over to him and have him hunt farther away. I think this "on the job training" will pay off soon enough....right?

    Wonderful photos. LBDs are special for sure.

    Yall lift up our family if you would. Our marvelous Boykin is about to leave us. Melanoma has got her. 12.5 great years. Cooper has given us a lot of fine memories. The wimmins are wrecked. I'm not far from it myself.
