    I'd love to know what percentage of bites happen when someone is attempting to kill the snake. There is a reason most bites are on the hands. And it isn't because they are good jumpers.

    Skunks, foxes, yotes, mink, otters will eat a live duck I feel confident they'd devour some eggs.

    You got a better chance of dying in a car accident on the way to and from the woods so I don't see what they hubbub is all about.

    i lived in charleston for many years. my old boykin would chase palmetto bugs in the parking lot when he went out to pee. I usually didnt speak to him for days after that....
