Get a terrova over powerdrive. Terrova is middle tier powerdrive is bottom. Terrova deploys and retracts sooooo much easier than powerdrive

My suggestion as well, plenty of power for that boat to run in the current and not stress on battery life over a day of fishing.
No need for the weight/space of going more.

I was kinda spooked about all the gadgetry with it but
talked to a bunch of folks that have no issues, talked to my
trolling motor repair guy (MK warranty center) and he said every
issue he has seen has been from abuse or zero maintenance

Trolling motors have ruined bottom fishing. Taking the skill out of anchoring & just hitting a button has made it easy to target bottom fish.

Be glad that 1) The side scan stuff is not that advanced yet, and 2) CMOR doesn't have much inside the ledge. Once that happens, it's over.

I also have an 80# MK Ulterra. I have had it since late 2018. It works flawlessly. Just spray the belt with silicone periodically.

Bottom line is, get what ever you can find and not be put on a waiting list for 6 months. My personal choice is the Minn Kota Terrova.

Oh, it is. But you gotta have a big enough boat and be willing to pay for it. Those Omnis are no joke!

Same argument could be made about a Sea Keeper. But I'm not gonna make it.

I'm not talking about omnidirectional scan for baitballs and pelagics. I'm talking about bottom fishing and finding structure on the sea floor like ledges, reefs, etc. I haven't really found it useful yet in 100+ feet.

I liked my Si-Tex paper machine. It worked like a charm to find bottom structure and fish. I miss them days

Fish on a boat with one that’s on & the bite isn’t worth a damn. Shut it off & it improves. Thing moves 10k rpm

Have a buddy who gets sick when it's on because he's used to moving with the waves.

I liked fishing on a boat with one though.

CMOR should be$5k+ if they ever start less than 120ft.
