    I've never put much stock in published duck numbers. I don't think its possible to estimate duck numbers with any level of accuracy.

    I agree 100% but if they do it wrong the same way every year then the trends are accurate. Once we understand how much basic hunting pressure waterfowl can take then the trends are more important than the absolute numbers.

    The area where I hunt in Canada my buddy told me that every pothole is full and there’s water in places he’s never seen in 21 years and this is an area they said was in a moderate drought. It is what it is , take what ya got and go kill’em

    Yeah right. SC is more than capable of sustaining a 3 bird wood duck limit, as well as a 6 bird dinger limit.
