    Default Hilinski named #2

Joyner apparently was not breaking down the defense quick enough pre snap, causing him to hold on to the ball too long and was taking too many sacks in scrimmage. Heard he has been given the day off practice today. I expect to see him transfer although I would like to see him stay and see how this season turns out or possibly make a position switch. kid is athletic.

Joyner never was a QB at the power 5 level. Would be hell on the other side of the ball though.

I was hoping to see Joyner be #2 and a Redshirt on Hilinski, but it is what it is if that is indeed the case. Joyner is athletic, and I agree he could play another position.

If I a am correct Clemson wanted but NOT as a QB, but he wanted to play QB in college. Heck of an athlete, was hoping for the best for this young man but have been told DB or WR is his “natural position”.

There were a ton of schools that wanted him as a safety, but he was dead set on playing QB. If he wants a shot at the next level I think now is the time to realize it won't be as a quarterback.

When Joyner moves to safety, you boys be sure to pile on to Mushchamp for lying to the kid. You know..."Chump always knew he was never gonna play QB. He just wanted him on campus."

    I can hear it now.

Im sure you guys will be consistent.

They may win a natty, but not in football. Maybe fencing, or barrel racing, or cosmetology.

Woody Dantlzer comes to mind, GREAT college QB and to me if he would have changed positions he could have made a good living in the NFL but would not back off wanting to be a QB . This day and age he may have been another story

As usual you have no idea what you are talking about. he did change positions in the NFL. He was an RB and Safety.
