    Default Ditching the dish

Fed up with direct TV, CBS off for past 6 weeks, now two weeks to get a 1st time ever service call! What is the best internet type service providers that has the best selection of channels and fair pricing?

If you have good WiFi service YouTubeTV is a no brainer in my opinion. $45/mo for up to 5 devices at once. And it goes with you as opposed to only being at your home

This link will show you just about every streaming service broken down by price/channels/what devices you can use/how many accounts you get. I wish I knew how to just bring over the table, but that's above my pay grade.

ETA: This is done from a college football channel perspective. It will still give you a good idea of what different carriers provide.

YouTube tv by a long shot. I’ve tried them all and YouTube has a much better interface and doesn’t drop out much. For me Hulu was the worst of the bunch. Channel selection is good but bad interface and I constantly had issues with the guide not loading or the app just shutting down unexpectedly

Wireline service providers vary. What part of the state you in?

CBS hasn’t been off. Only one of the 3 networks I watch. Think you meant ABC. Either way. Depends on where you live. It’s the best option for where I live and never had a real issue. Actually thinking of upgrading to their wireless service.

Edit: It is actually NBC I do not have. Didn’t know that as I do not watch it.

Guy at work told me about something called WYA TV. Only thing about it I see right now is I believe I need to download it to a Firestick because it's not giving me an option to cast it from my phone to the TV.

Waiting on Spectrum guy right now. Gave up on Directv. Have been a customer since early '90s.

I’m new to this whole idea. However that vibe TV seems to be the way to go. What am I missing?

I cut the cord years ago. I have Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and CBS all access. I watch my hunting flicks on YouTube.

All those options are great unless you live where your only internet option is DSL. Which I do and choose not to have crappy, overpriced internet. So Directv isn’t going to be replaced anytime soon.
