    Default Beaver pond

Drained about a 4 acre beaver pond this summer. Cleared some in the upper end and planted millet and then seeded rice in the lower wet end. Always been a good spot but this should step it up a little

    Looks great D!

Did you broadcast and drag/cover or just broadcast?

Did you add any fertilizer to it?

Sprouted the rice, broadcasted it in the water then pulled water off. Fixing to head so I put on fertilizer. As for millet I broadcasted it right before a rain and fertilized it just as it germinated

Looking good Bo. I can hear em squealing!
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Rice and millet heading out. Wind laid some of it down but that’ll just make it easier for them to get to

Looks great. How you keep the deer from browsing in it or they just don't care for it?

    I think God handles that
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands
