    Default 410 shells

Suggestions on 410 round for kids under a powerline?

Gun is a modified. Current plan is 7.5 in 2 3/4 inch shells unless someone wants to make a case for something else.

    And go.

I’d shoot 9’s. You aren’t going to shoot farther than where 9’s will kill, and you get more pellets.

Depending on how experienced the youngster is, might get a rest/shooting stick set up. I'm w Boozer on more pellets. Good luck!

They have some AA's in 9's on cabelas. target loads.

I might go 8's, but I don't really trust 9's to penetrate feathers.

cheaperthandirt.com has some decent ammo prices every now and then.

i was ordering son1s clay shells from able ammo but he is kinda picky. i reckon they have the 9s in .410 also.

GBelly is on it. I shoot a .410 for the first season and used to shoot 9s but found the 6s to do a better job of killing the bird with the first barrel. I prefer Fiochi HVs

I have patterned a lot of .410 shells and found that the Winchester 3” 8.5’s pattern the best out of my Citori and have no problem killing a dove inside 25-30 yards.
