    Default Best Cellular Trail Cameras

What is your experience with cellular trail cameras? I bought a Spypoint Link Micro Verizon and it's been hit or miss and I'm not real pleased with this camera. Have any of you had any success with the cellular cameras, if so, what brand?

Covert has worked great for me and 6 or 7 other friends. Only complaint is the new app is not as user friendly as the original app. Hopefully they will get that fixed.

Stealthcam has also worked well for me. Heard lots of good reports like GP's on the Coverts.

What he said. I just set up a covert yesterday and it’s taking great pictures so far. The app is kinda finicky but hopefully they will address that soon. I just ordered another one last night.

I’m currently running a SPYPOINT Link Evo and a Spartan GoCam. Picture quality and overall functionality of the Spartan is superior to the SPYPOINT. The SPYPOINT was about half the cost of the Spartan but if I had the chance to do over, I would have paid more and purchased two Spartans.

I’m also running 3 traditional cameras and plan to eventually replace with Spartans.

I almost went Spartan. I have two buddies that have them and they do great. A better picture than the covert but they replace their batteries two, sometimes three times, before I replace mine once.

And with my camera being 8 hours away, battery life is a big deal to me

What has been hit or miss about it? I’m tempted to buy a few while ass pro has them for $100 this week.

Spypoint Link Micro Verizon- Day 5
*Formatted new SD card and download new firmware and installed.
*No night pictures as of yet transmitted
    *Temp is +/-10 degrees off
*110 pictures (9 deer) so far all in the morning none at night
*Camera running on new 12 volt battery w/solar panel
*4 to 5 cell service bars during the day but will drop to 2 bars maybe 3 at night, first night out 1 bar.
*It seems to only forward pictures if it has 4 to 5 bars of service.
I know it has to be deer out at night, but I have not seen 1 picture transmitted at night.

    $350 $5 month with Verizon, $10 with AT&T.

People mostly use as a remote security camera where WiFi or power is not available.

You can watch the streaming anytime. You also get a text when activated. With 3 second play back from the time it was triggered.

Voice connection to cuss out poachers and raccoons.

    7 day cloud service.

You can buy unlock cameras I am not sure what the cost per month is buying the camera direct.

    5 per month with verizon.
I use camera with solar charger.
They are pricey, but have held up well.
