Wigeon, the occasional black, in a pond ringed with blackmarsh behind the dunes, the sound of winter surf in the background.

    Mixed bag in the saltmarsh.

Mixed bag in a coastal impoundment

Birds over setters in Lee County broomstraw

    What else is there?

You've obviously never had Ms Shirley's fried chicken and cornbread from Bi On church street in Greenville. You get a crumb of that on your head and your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get it.

Dude, we were talking chains. You can't go off the path now. Does sound like fire, though.

Years ago the old Boykin hunting club used to have their own dogs, and a kennel. After the old gentleman that used to run the hounds retired, my father and a couple friends used to help out. We noticed a crazy amount of bigass swamp rats were getting into their food.. So we went down there armed with 22s and such. Flipping over those tubs and trying to hunt down those bastards has to be something similar to shooting driven guineas..

I have quail hunting in Mexico on a rainy day where those guys wanted us to ground shoot them.. I'm just not that undignified.

I've shot a few before, but I still feel uneasy talking about it.
