Interesting article in the Greenville News about money spent recruiting. Klimpsin has the #1 ranked class for 2020 and spent $2.9 million. South Carolina has the #19 class for 2020 and spent $861,000. I guess USC better up its budget.

If I remember correctly, those numbers were almost perfectly reversed 8yrs ago in the middle of the UofSC run.

Seriously it is unreal what is spent on college football now days. Caught little bit of the conversation on WCCP this am. Bama spent $166 million, Clemson $118 million last year.

Forgot what U5C spent but it was in same range.

He did go on to say Bama had a “profit” of 11million, U5C 6million and Tigers right at $2 Million

UGA has been spending around $2.5mil on recruiting the last couple of years.

It's a business, and the biggest spenders are going to stay on top.
