Most units are OTC. There are some that are draw, and they are hard to draw, even for residents. I

Oregon is a awesome place, killed a bull with the bow in 58 2 years ago. One day i'll get the the west side of the state and kill a rosie.

Go fellas. Nothing like it chasing an animal out west.

Remember the A-Team and how they got B.A. on planes?

That's how he is able to travel well.

I am scared if I go chase elk with my bow and arrow, I'll be ruined for anything else.

Never hunted them with a bow, but I have with a rifle. That’s all I want to hunt now, and plan to chase them hard starting around 2021.

I've bowhunted the rut and it's all I think about. This is my last year not hunting elk. I don't care if it's OTC or limited draw. I'm chasing elk every year from now till I can't walk anymore.

They’re fun to hunt, and it blows meat from a whitetail out of the water. I’ve been going through withdrawals because I only have a few packs left in the freezer and my next elk hunt is a year away.

I second that on elk. It is some of the best wild game I have ever eaten. I know what they have been feeding on and how it was handled prior to cooking has a lot to do with it. Damn fine table fare.
