This is one weird season. I just rode by our big field and saw the most doves I've seen this year.
Currently thin up my way. Need some cool weather
I ran the silage cutter through an ass of corn Friday......then it rained an inch!
WTF.......Got birds, to much going on to get a good watch this weekend.

If that's what it takes I'm gonna go find a silage cutter
Another member and myself went to a public field yesterday hoping to shoot a few. We each killed a limit the first weekend and there was still an incredible amount of food for the birds but we never pulled the trigger yesterday. Sat there for about 3hrs and maybe saw 5 birds cross the field
We had a decent shoot Saturday morning in the western part of the upstate.

son1 says he might come home this weekend and asked about doves. I told him I didnt have much right now....
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
Anderson area is low. Dad hunted a field near Hartwell and didn’t pull the trigger. We are holding less than 100 birds.

Farm isn’t too far from son1. We might shoot again on the 12th. Will let you know.

Shot 2 different mornings last week and both were pretty good.
98 in the upstate tomorrow. The high Saturday is 73. It will be interesting to see what happens to the doves.
Numbers are way down compared to last year at this time. Last year was hot but wasn't this damn hot.
