you shoot on thanksgiving?
you shoot on thanksgiving?
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
We do, that morning
We had three people show up to hunt Saturday. We had more birds than we’d had most of first season but that’s not saying much. Hopefully we pick up some more by Friday.

We're still holding a large number of birds. I hope they stick until 12/28. We still have a ton of food.
We still have a lot of food.
More fuel = more boost!!
Plenty of food and no birds. I saw more birds feeding under sweetgums the past few weeks than I have seen on any field in the area.
Third season starts 12/28. As of earlier today we are holding a large number of birds.
Most food I've ever had late in season 3 different locations all at least 10 miles apart and crappy numbers or none at all.
I had 1 shy a limit at the birdfeeder this morning for the rain came. You can hunt with me

My flowers have long been blown over and most corn is gone.... Sprayed all the panicum but they're in the corn stubble and I don't know WTH they're feeding on....

I've still got a lot of standing sunflowers, corn and a lot of unsprouted wheat left from the "planting" I did at the end of November. Very few birds. Very few. The mice, rats and tweety birds are having a feast but the doves just haven't come back after the middle of the second split. I keep hoping a swarm will show up on every weather front but they just aren't there.
Our field in Williamsburg has been off since the 1st season, hopefully it will pickup the 28th.
Right around New Year's and towards the end of the month is when we typically see more birds. I love shooting winter birds more than most things in life
If theres a list of activities of mine
We shot today. A lot of birds. Sporty in that wind.
Has anyone got any birds? My field is drowning in food but almost zero birds. I'm not going to have an opportunity to hunt it until the last couple days of the season so I'm contemplating mowing everything down.
