    Default Damn DNR

I mailed paper work in for my new boat. I had confirmation they received certified mail, but hadn't heard anything in a few weeks....6 weeks. Call over there and they proceed to tell me they lost them. Does anybody have a contact or number I can call about this? This is straight bullshit.

Have a similar story. Bought a boat back in June. Sent in the paperwork. 8 weeks later they send it all back to me because I forgot to fill in my driver's license number.

It's a hassle, that's why I do it in person.

With anything DNR, just go down and fill out your paperwork in person. You cant get anything out of our state agency's anymore.

Another vote for in person visits to handle these.

In their defense they did just move a couple months ago. Prolly got lost in the shuffle. I'm sure you're not the only one it happened to.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Bought a new boat in May. Mailed off paper work the next day. Stamped as received at DNR on June 5. Return date to me was July 18. Needed like 4 more things from me not stated on the form. Drove to James Island, done in 10 min. Worth it.

    I’ll just leave this here...

at some point “mailed it in” became a euphemism for ”half hearted attempt.”
