Mailed mine off earlier this year on the high tide. Got it back 4 weeks later titled to a 1978 Kingfisher or some shit. Had to send pics of hull number and old title number that I luckily had saved on my phone. Four weeks after that, got the correct title.

True, but is it really that hard for a state agency to look up a DL #

yes it is with the volume of mail they probably get.
They probably are saying, "is it really that hard to follow the directions and proof read your form before mailing it"

I’m not blaming them for the mess up. I own that I should have looked it over 3 times before I mailed it. I just laugh at how incredibly inefficient government is. They could have called me or looked it up in their own system and been done with it in 5 mins. Nope they spent the time to mail it back, pay postage, to only pick it back up and start over when it gets back to them. Wasting everyone’s time

Exactly, surely in this modern age, we can come together and find a picture of said smokeshow.

    PSA.
While DNR does do boat title work in person at the Clemson office. They do at the Columbia office and Charleston office. I guess we just don't have enough boats in the upsate?

Clemson office must not be close enough to a certain amount of lakes.

There’s a reason there’s signs at every shadetree mechanic shop offering boat title service......

The Clemson quit doing a lot of things when Betty Snipes retired. DNR needs to put up a statue of that saint and name the Clemson office after her.

For the record. Got in touch with a manager woman last week. She was nice and they miraculously found the paperwork on somebody's desk. She said it should be to me by the end of the week.
