    True, but it also gives more room upstairs with full/near full height walls and ceilings. It keeps one from having to cut the bottom two drawers off a full dresser.

    As BH said, you’d best trust the man who you’re paying. Roofers come and go. I’ve been lucky to run the same core of guys for nearly 10 years. At the end of the day the buck stops with me. Most guys who call themselves roofers are no more than slick talking salesmen who wouldn’t know which end of a hammer to hold. I’m a firm believer that if you’re going to sell something to someone you should know how to do it yourself
