I've got an Ithaca model 900 featherlight that I can shoot one handed arm extended. It doesn't kick at all but I'm shooting 2 3/4" shells.

    I love my 20...

I wish I had a better camera back when I shot woodcock with a 20 gauge...

or when I used to walk up wild quail...

    ...a slightly better camera....

...I think I can survive September with nothing but a 20...

but a 20 gauge is still too much for these little guys...

Fitted properly, it is fun in November too...

I bought my wife a Benelli Montefeltro 20 and it has the recoil of a BB gun. It has become my favorite dove gun, and has killed many a summer ducks too.

    This.

I have 2 28s. One OU and an 870. No recoil at all.

    Man's got a point here...

Except for the Ford thingy. That was below the belt.

Beautiful pictures. I love that old BSS. If I ever decide to sell my Citori Sporter from the same era, I'm going to contact you. They would make a great pair.

    It's a sweet gun. Same oil-finished wood as the BSS, 26" 20ga, and choked Cyl/IC. It's a quail murderer.

Good advice. I shot my 410 under & over on opening day and killed the limit......Sounded like a pop gun compared to the others and No recoil.
