Default Dove Stool / Hunting Seat

I'm in the market for a new seat/stool. What are you sitting in that is comfortable?

I'm going to tag along on this thread as I've been eyeballing this one, does anybody have one and how has it stood the test of time? they can be found a little cheaper from other dealers

I wish Toofer or Glenn or someone would invite me on a dove shoot. Then I might have a "need" for a new seat.

I know several people that have the Peregrine bucket and they seem to like it. Biggest pro to them is the backpack straps for walking. They seem a little “gimmicky” to me.

I have had this one for a couple years and have no complaints. Like the back rest, like the built in cooler, can open with one hand, can carry by the shoulder strap or the handle on the bottom of the back rest.

Hot Damn!!! $67 for a bucket??? I normally stand up most of the time. If I sit, I sit on my rattle canned beer and bird cooler. How do I carry a couple boxes of shells?....grocery sack. Works good to put your trash in on the way out. Y'all got money than you have sense!

Here's what I've been using for years. It's got a seat back which is more comfortable for long hunts. Got a cooler built in to bring water and stay hydrated, plus a snack. Added some Claw backpack straps, it's a bit cumbersome to carry on the back plus a gun, but it's worth having the back rest.

    Alps, camo director chair

I don't carry much, maybe a box of shells but that'll go in my vest. The vest will have an extra can of dip, a cigar, lighter, and a perrier, and a pack of big red

I have one and it serves it purpose. The back pack feature is a definite plus. The drawbacks are the pockets are not big enough to tote 4 Mojo doves and the cooler won't hold more than 12 Natties with ice.

Big red is a palate cleanser... I wouldn't want to get stuck in a dove field without a dip either. And I might only smoke a couple cigars a year, and usually only goes in during the third season.
