    Default Muzzleloader input

Looking at Traditions Pursuit and CVA Optima....anyone have any input on ease of use/cleaning and overall quality/accuracy?

The Optimas have a good reputation, and anything with a removable breech is easy to clean.

I bought a tc impact a few years ago. Goes bang, is accurate, and kills stuff. The new ones have an easy to remove breech plug. The impact is a good value as well. They are around 200 bucks

I was muzzleloader shopping last year and ended up with the traditions pursuit.
I’ve been happy with it so far. Had a surprisingly nice trigger pull in my opinion

I have two of those tradition pursuit ultralights. I don’t have any complaints, they’re easy to clean and plenty accurate enough for what I need.

I only hunt with one on a camping trip we do every year. I clean it before I go and clean it when I get back. I do not clean it after every shot. I guess if you were to go to the range and shoot quite a few times, I would clean it before I carried it in to the woods.
