The author is wrong, as are so many others who have chosen to comment on this situation. Bryant could have stayed and redshirted, which is what Dabo offered. One could argue it would have been better for his career because he would have been actively involved in football during the season. That said, there's always more to the situation that the we don't know.

People seem to forget Dabo made the decision to name Lawrence the starter after the fourth game, which still gave Bryant a chance of redshirting. Many also forget that Bryant skipped practice one day, showed up to meetings the next day as if everything was good, then decided to walk away before practice after those meetings. And I have yet to see anyone, even the detractors, say Dabo made the wrong call in naming Lawerence the starter.

Those of you who think a guy who walked away deserves a ring are blinded by the rivalry, just as the Clemson fans who are disparaging Tavien Feaster are wrong. Feaster did what was asked of him. He was a good teammate and earned his degree. I may not like it, but he's earned the right to transfer to any school of his choice.

If you really think Bryant deserves a ring, then you should be paying child support to the girl you fingered blasted in high school who later had a child with another man.
