    The IPTAY rumors that I hear:
    Sean Payton from the Saints
    Jason Garrett from the Cowboys.
    lil Beamer sp teams coach and asst. head coach.
    The die is cast.....
    G. Oleary
    Ty Willingham have also been brought up in conversation.

    Clemson aint against buying out someones contract at another team- they bought Tammy out after 2 years a Tulane didnt they? Or payed for half?

    Bo Pelini or Charlie Strong would be my pick for '08.

    However, I don't think Tommy will go anywhere as long as TDP is around. Keeping the players faces out of Inmates Illustrated (The State) is more important to the Clemson EO’s and board of trustees. Clemson’s admin is looking to become more of an academic school and lose the party image IMO. Clemson will be a marginal 7&5 or 8&4 team under Tommy, not saying a 9&3 can’t happen but it would be the exception rather than the rule.

    Obviously USC wants a winning team more than Clemson as evidenced by their head coach’s they hire, at least by recent history.

    I've said this before, Steve Spurrier will be the reason for Tommy Bowden's departure.


    On another note, the DNR is concerned about the falling numbers on the WMA deer hunts. A recent survey showed hunters would rather not hunt than to be forced to wear orange vests. Somebody might mistake them for a Clemson fan.

    NCstate tried hiring Cowher, I mean his girls go to school in RDU and he lives in the triangle, he said in a press conference with them, that he doesn't know what he wants, bu he is pretty sure he doesn't want to coach college football.

    I just get a kick out of the espnU guys saying, well, it is about that time of year for Clemson, start off strong, and finish lousy.

    I would love to see Tammy stay seeing how im a Carolina fan but really he needs to be fired now not at the end of the season. Whats going to happen is he will win 4 or 5 of the last 6 game and then everyone will be ok with him again and then the cycle will start all over again. This was supposed to be the break out year and just like years past he loses the games he should win. But hey, give him a raise and add 2 more years to his contract and ill be happy.

    I'll tell ya who it WON'T be and that's Jim Leavitt from USF. BTW, 1 year before Tamara got to Moo U he took over a program that didn't exist, period, and has it ranked #5 and Tamara took a by gawd football power the likes of which the world has never seen before (did I mention they won a MNC back when your momma was still hot) and is now unranked, headed south and sinking fast...
