No Hogg....sorry its not Bud! Bud and I go way back too. I recently republished the little book so I stopped by Bud's Village museum and left him and Randy about 30 copies. We three had lunch together at Graham's downtown McClellanville and had a great time!! Stop by or give them a call. They will be happy to fix you up with a copy of this little treasure.

No I am not related but I am acquainted with Don, Mid, and Larry. Archibald Rutledge is my specialty in the world of books and history. I have been a supporter of the Village Museum for a long time. Bud Hill is a longtime friend. I left 30 copies of "Early History of the Santee Club" with them to sell. The sales that they make on my recently republished book is all theirs. I am always happy to support the Village Museum. Call or stop by there if you can and pick up a copy. They are open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Best regards to you. Dean Pawleys Island SC

Give Randal McClure a call at 843-693-7000 cell or call the museum number at 843-887-3030. Randy is the museum director. He does stay busy but he will get back to you.
