Default PSA as dove season approaches

Just an FYI for some of you.....as dove season is coming soon.
I know some of you just aren't that bright or just havent been on this earth very long and fall for advertizing.

LEAVE YOUR STUPID ROBO DOVE AT HOME.

If I see you with one, I will ask you to get back in your car and leave....and dont come back.

Robo doves are the dumbest thing in the history of outdoor recreation.

The dove is coming to eat. It does not need a decoy. As a matter of fact, these stupid spinning wing things only make a dove fly low. Low is bad.

So, before you pull that stupid pole out of your SUV and show me the really long extension pole you fabricated at home so the robo can be "seen from a long ways off", just stop. Stop hunting all together. Pick up golf. Maybe golf is for you.

Now, for those thinking "2th is being an ass again" and you own a robo----YES, I AM TALKING TO YOU. You are the problem. People are laughing at you.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

That's how I read the post! Now I just need directions! Don't own a Robo Dove or an ATV so I should be good to go! Oh, and I can always make a run to the docks to pick up some fresh shrimp before I head to the field!!
Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

Robo doves are really nice for low birds, that's the only thing I've found.. I mean, I'm still going to throw some decoys over the lines during winter hunting, but they have no place during the opening couple of seasons.

I can play golf and shoot well.. We need to sit together at least once this year, in the dove fields.

Decoys on the wire are not in the same category as robo doves. They work fine on early season shoots, they're just not necessary until birds get a bit educated and cautious.

I think guests that bring them are obnoxious though. Almost as bad as throwing a guest on a pole that cannot shoot.

If you don't think they have their place you've never used them on a late season, early morning solo hunt. They don't always seem to work but when they do, they do. If the options that morning are a dozen decoying doves or 3 summer ducks, i'm shooting doves every single day of the week and twice on sunday.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

They have their place and they work, like some said late season, especially solo hunting. I'm sure you're not shooting a muzzle loading shotgun.

I agree 2f. Hate the damn things. Your already in a baited field so maybe late season people should try hiding a little better.

I like sitting by the pole, and I also like shooting them off the wire.

Guests that bring their own atvs top those though.. ones that dont want to be put out, they have so much gear that they insist they drive themselves out to the field.
