    Default Upstate lower unit rebuild

Who would you recommend and trust in the upstate area to rebuild a 130 yamaha lower unit?

Tman have you purchased from SEI before? I actually have already purchased that lower unit and I am installing it tomorrow. After doing further research its kind of nerve racking reading some of the experiences people have had with this companies lower units. Now some have good reviews with 200-500 hours and no issues. While others are saying their units do not make it past the break in period and have gone through 3-4 units. I am one to prepare for the worst and I am considering taking my old lower to a reputable shop for repair.

I've always heard go OEM for Yamaha lower units from my yamaha guy.

The aftermarket lower units can be hit or miss, with a lot of miss.
