I just bought one...I like it...I don't like the cheesy "Goose band chokes". The gun feels good to shoulder

I like that it has an adjustable comb. I wonder if you can adjust the LOP with a thicker recoil pad. And no mention of barrel length. I'd get one if they offered 32's.

the sx4 hybrid hunter is made like that (cerakoted barrel), it caught my eye yesterday at sportsman's warehouse in Anderson. I thought it was a good looking gun but I'm more of a fan of wood stock on o/u

According to the website 30” barrels are the longest available.
Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

I shot a buddy's Cynergy and now I covet it for a duck gun. It's a nicely balanced, medium heavy O/U with a durable finish that would be a fine duck gun. I hate that my autoloader slings hulls into the marsh and I can't pick up all of them. That's one of the best things about a break gun to me, not having to chase hulls.

I shoot a 32" gun for sporting clays but I dissent from Gander's love of long barrels when it comes to field guns. 32" barrels, if they balance the gun well, are fine for clays but I just can't imagine toting one for quail and I don't think they make enough difference on a duck gun to risk having a cumbersome gun on a timber shoot. On the other side of that coin, my 24" quail gun is plain rude in a two or three man duck blind just due to the muzzle blast. I doubt most, myself included, could tell the difference between a 30" and a 32" without a tape measure on most of our shooting. I've had friends grab the wrong gun out of the rack on clays courses and not know until told, even though it was a shorter or longer barreled gun. It does take some mental adjustment for me when I switch from my heavy, 32" 12 gauge clays gun to my lightweight 24" 20 gauge dove gun but that adjustment only lasts a few shots before I am able to ignore the barrel.

I like the looks of it, but theres a few things wrong.

    1) Doesn't come with sling attachments
    2) Comes in a cardboard box. For $2K it should come with a hard case.
    3) Only 3 chokes, and they are tacky AF. Again, a $2K gun should come with 5 chokes......

Me neither except when I'm trying to hide from sharp eyed birds. I like black synthetic guns even less.
