Default 2012 BMW 550 timing chain

    Back to my roots....

2012 F10 N63 dual turbo V8 smoking at idle and rattle on start up. 81k miles. Replaced valve stem seals and it had broken timing chain guides. He got out for somewhere around the tune of $6700.00

    More fuel = more boost!!

Maybe KRT knows, but I think most the dual turbo 5’s were all pretty fucked. BIL had one and it was no Bueno.

This did not necessarily represent the rest of the brand, so don't let it turn you off.

For a $6700 repair bill she better scream, moan, clean fish, retrieve ducks, wash clothes, etc. LOL B.M.W. Bubba Makes Wheels

I was thinking the same thing. I would have started with a can of sea foam and a tank of premium gas!

Would it be that expensive to do a timing chain on a 2013 Mercedes 4cyl turbo??
