Why'd you run header boards up to the cabinets? Looks awesome, was just curious.

Do you research on the gas range. We have a Thermador stuff now and really like it. We had what ever GE's high end was in our prior house and the Thermador walks circles around the other which I thought was pretty good.

Gas ranges? Would you still prefer it if you were on propane instead of natural gas?

I feel like I'm camping on electric tops, so both of those make fire which is a good thing.

If you like to cook, then hell yes.......even if it’s propane. If you don’t really like or enjoy cooking then don’t worry about it. I’d also always get an electric oven, not gas.

we did a kitchen reno after the floods a few years back i didnt get the pot filler. I think I am OK with that. I wish I got a farm sink instead of the divided one I have. I like my gas range and two ovens (electric).

I'm not sold on the fridge like one in the pic but it keeps things cold and its kinda nice to be able to open up the fridge while there is a dog at your feet.

I care much less about the expensive counter tops and drawer pulls than most people these days. Its an insane waste of money but I (like you) wont win that argument.

a drawer so you can slide out your microwave then slide it back out of sight when not in use.

My gas range is hooked up to propane. No problems at all and definitely prefer it over an electric range.

We did a full renovation on the house we live in, we went with a big hood and a 36" gas range, also went with a heavy duty disposal. A nice oven hood and the gas range were the best improvements by far over our old kitchen.

Don't do marble countertops. Everyone that I know who has done them has regretted it because it stains very easily. Take a look at quartzite.

I thought so too, but apparently they make over-priced microwaves now that automatically open up like a pull out drawer. Wild.

One big fridge in the kitchen with no freezer. One door opens and you can see everything. Our main freezer is in one of those areas they call a mud room. My dog entrance. That freezer is a big upright. Other freezers in garage.

Def vent good fan to outside.

Drawer microwave is nice. That is in our island and out of the way to free up counter space.

Bar stools at island on 2 sides for 4 stools total.

I am.. I see enough people at the things I already have to attend, and smiling and shit at the stores.. I mean I like hanging out with friends and such at Bwood, or at the club, or at our little guys steak night.. But home, pfff. I mean we might have a couple over every once and a while, maybe some family, but I'm going to be on the couch with a dip in around 9ish zoned out. I'm not what I used to be.
