    Default Chattanooga Tenn?

So the wife and I are going for a few days and yes I know about Rock city and ruby falls and the aquarium and other main attractions. Looking for other recommendations on things to do, see, and eat. Iím more interested in the eating and drinking, but she is more into ďmaking memoriesĒ. Letís hear what the experts say!

Tremont Tavern. Big beer selection and great burgers. If you go and they have the fried catfish sandwich special, it’s solid.

Clyde's on Main is a good sports bar, good food, cold drinks. The Warehouse Row is good so was told, I went shooting Benton's while the girls shopped.

Overall, we had a good time in that town. I would go back. They have this bike system where you can rent a bike and ride to another spot and park the bike at these racks. When you are done at your spot, you go back outside and grab another bike and keep riding.

The aquarium was cool and its located near some other stuff to do. Have fun.

Just went up with my wife in May for our anniversary (we're from NW GA so that's where the gparents/free babysitting is). I'd recommend the following for restaurants:

https://www.taqueriacha.com/ - Excellent tortas and tacos, lunch/day drinking spot
https://www.publichousechattanooga.com/ - Do seafood well, have a great bar to grab a drink while you wait
https://milkandhoneychattanooga.com/ - This place for breakfast is a must go. Ride bikes across the river to "make a memory" for your wife. They sell beer but don't recall a full bar

As for stuff to do, they have a decent music scene if you like live music, i'd check out who's playing when you're in town.

Cool place to visit....wouldn’t want to be from there.

Sugars ribs downtown. Smoked okra and top shelf bourbon. And decent ribs.

We did all the tacky tourist things. Rock city, ruby falls, incline railroad, lookout mountain, and went to sweet water and did the the lost sea cave and mayfield dairy. They were having an old fashioned farm festival that day.

Ours wasn’t a “romantic” weekend but we had a ball.
