    Default Henry O Boats

Anyone have any experience with them? The most I've found is the limited stuff on Google. I have a chance to get a 17'-18' side console with a older Yamaha 115 for cheap. Just wondering the good, bad, indifferent y'all might know about them.

Owned an 88 model for years and loved it. Made in NC. Pretty solid hull and ride.

Great boat. One of the McKee brothers started them at some point when they were building boats I believe. Not 100% but they are pretty well thought of boats out east in NC

The McKee brothers were behind the unsinkable whaler-then left to do it better, McKee craft used the same type of design with heavier fiberglass than whaler, the Henry O was heavier glass and was supposed to be designed so the foam would drain instead of becoming waterlogged. I have owned a McKee, ridden on all and never known a dissatisfied owner of any of the 3- other than the ride- solid, stable, unsinkable boats.

Had a Henry o 17' cc with a 120 Johnson on it. Kick myself frequently for selling it. Was an awesome boat. Trips to the tire reef, middle ground, and broad river have never been the same....

The 17 is a pretty capable nearshore boat, great ride and platform for the size.

My buddy's dad had one years ago. A lot of good memories on that boat, makes me smile to know some are still around.
